What If I Don't Have Insurance?
Vantage Counseling welcomes self-pay clients. If you are paying out-of-pocket, you will pay the standard session fee at the time of service. We believe in making mental health care as accessible as possible โ if you have questions about fees, please reach out to discuss your options.

Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
No Surprises Act โ Federal Requirement
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost before you receive services.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
- You can ask your healthcare provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
